Yes, you need to activate your phone in order to make calls. To activate your phone, please choose a 4-digit password and have your ESN number handy. Your ESN and your phone number are located under the battery of your Ready Mobile PCS prepaid phone. To activate your phone:

Note: Your phone comes with a free activation card to set up your account. Expiration period is 7 days from activation.
When calling in the US dial the area code and number.
No! There are no long distance charges for any calls made within the continental United States. You only pay long distance charges if you call outside this area.
From your Ready Mobile PCS phone press and hold the key until 'Connecting…Voicemail' appears. Follow the prompts to set up the password and greeting. Your password will be repeated at the end of the process.

Yes—just dial 411 from your Ready Mobile PCS phone. Calls to Directory Assistance are $1.95 each, plus airtime (Free Nights and Weekends do not apply).

You may return your Ready Mobile PCS phone up to 30 days from the date of purchase for a full refund of the equipment purchase price. Phones are not refundable after 10 minutes of use.
Broadband
Yes, you need to activate your card in order to use it. To activate your card, please have your ESN number handy. Your ESN is located on the back of your Ready Broadband card. (See below – What is my ESN?). To activate your card:

- Follow simple activation instructions.
A FREE 5MB card is provided with the purchase for testing. The 5MB is good until midnight on the day of activation.
Once you have woken up/activated your card you will need to click on the connection manager, click on the middle bottom button that says "Connect".
Your ESN is an 11 digit unique identifier for your card and is located on the back of your card.
- Purchase a Ready Broadband prepaid refill of $25, $45, or $75. Refill cards are available through the Pay-N-Go Incomm terminal or by visiting storefront.readymobile.com

Yes, you will lose any unused balance by the expiration date based on the activation date of the refill card.

You may return your Ready Broadband card up to 30 days from the date of purchase for a full refund of the equipment purchase price. You may not return the equipment if damaged by improper usage or modification that results in the equipment failure. Please call 1-800-593-2207 to complete this process. Refill cards are not refundable.
